Old Navy, Drug Store, Lancome, Forever 21, Macys... | Collective Haul

-Guilty little pleasure, I LOVE watching people's haul videos!

Hugs to you, darlings! I hope your weeks have been going absolutely swell! Mine has been alright, nothing of excitement though. I slept over at my friends house last night and you know, we never got around to much sleeping. So I am positively exhausted at the moment but I'm too lazy to take a nap (don't judge me).

So as you can see from my very first sentence, I admit to loving watching people show off what they've bought in their videos. I'm always curious to see what others are liking. This evening I though I would just show you some of the things I have gotten in the past week or so. While reading this, keep in mind that I have never done a thing like this before (so be kind)!

-I'll start off with the top left corner. I purchased a nail polish at my local Walgreens for a bargain of $2! I practically yelped with excitement when I found it in one of the extremely dissorganized sale bins (yuck)! It's a Sally Hansen, Insta-Dry polish, and I love the brand to death, or in this case until they dry out. I love the bottle, the brush, and the quality; basically everything about it is A+. This colour is called Orange Splash and I am so glad that I found it! I know its not a very wintery colour but I've been dying for an orange polish. The photo really does it no justice.

-Next, at Macy's I bought the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H foundation for around $44. I was introduced to this product by my mother, well more like I "borrowed" hers. Her shade is a bit darker than mine so I finally resolved to purchase my own. At the counter, the saleswoman matched me and I delightfully skipped away to my home to try it out! But oh no, it turns out the shade was too dark for me! So that involved another trip to Macy's to exchange for a lighter colour. A different girl helped me out this time, and it turns out that I am so pale they didn't even have it in stock (I had to order it online). I'm not going to go and review this foundation just yet, but look out for that in the future!

-At Walgreens I repurchased the Maybelline New York concealer (price around $7). I first bought it a couple of months ago and I really liked it, so I decided to go for it again. I forgot which shade I bought the last time, so I just grabbed the lightest one I found, which was 15 Fair Clair, since apparently I am extremely pale (I really had no idea!)

-Moving on to the middle top photo, you'll see a Burt's Bee's lip balm. I tried out the eos chap stick and although they smell quite whimsical, they did nothing for my dry lips. I decided to go back to trusty ol' Burt's which really does do wonders! (my friends told me its because it has coconut oil in it).

-Top right picture first shows little turquoise Betsy Johnson earrings. I actually didn't buy these diddies, I received them as a New Years gift. I mainly decided to post these to see if anyone had any idea what to wear them with! (I don't know how much they cost, sorry).

-The big gold ring ($3) and the sparkling earrings ($7) I purchased at Forever 21 for my winter formal. I find them both charming and I can wear both after the dance is over as well! I can't wait to show you guys what I'm wearing to it!!

-Now comes that excellent red sweater from Banana Republic ($28). You can't tell from the picture very much, but its red with cream stripes, gold buttons, and pockets on each side. I feel in love with this when I saw it in the clearance section! I was afraid it might be a bit itchy but it's quite warm and soft.

-The next two items are from the juniors section in Macy's. Unfortunately I've forgotten how much either of those costed me, but they were a bargain! I spotted the tee and bolted for it, thinking along the way, "I must have that!" It's simply black with N* 5 in glittery white. Next I got galaxy printed leggings which have been on my wish list for around a year now! I am so happy to finally be able to cross that off the "To Buy" list.

-The rest of the products I found on sale in Old Navy. Now, if you know me then you know I have a ridiculous amount of things from that store. So many, that I actually banned myself from there. But yes, I cheated a little, so I promised myself I would go in there only once a season (baby steps)! I bought a blue, purpley sweater for around $7 and I seriously don't want to take it off. Although it's a size medium and I am generally a size small, the extra space makes it the perfect "baggy sweater" that have been oh so loved by shoppers this winter. It goes over my butt so it looks darling tucked into leggings and worn off the shoulder and I won't even begin talking about how soft and comfy it is.

-I'll move on to the final photograph. The first item is a mint green scarf that cost $12 and matches the next item, a flannel patterned blouse ($5). I actually can't wait to wear those two together with some leggings and brown lace up boots! Last but not least, I saw the white mint green patterned shirt just as I was about to go and pay for my things. I adored the pattern which you can't see in the picture, but I'm sure it will be in one of my outfit of the days! That one was also about $5.

That's everything I have gotten in the past week, apart from what's in the laundry bin. I hope that wasn't too boring for you to read and if you actually read all that, wow I love you! I know that is by no means the best "haul" write up but I aim to do many more of these and improve with each one. Thanks again for reading and have a lovely day/evening! :)
